I am thrilled to announce that I have finally earned my Bachelor’s Science in Information Technology from the University of Arizona Global Campus at the age of 44 with Magna Cum Laude honors. This long journey would not have been possible without the help of my supportive employer, Microsoft, and the love and motivation from my wife.
Pursuing higher education was not a smooth ride, as I had to balance work, family, and my studies. However, I was determined to succeed, and with careful time management, I was able to make it work. Dealing with family was also a challenge, but I was motivated by the fact that I was not just pursuing education for myself, but also setting an example for my children that pursuing higher education is always a good choice, no matter one’s age.
I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my wife for her unwavering support and love. She was my rock during challenging times, always offering a listening ear and encouragement.
In conclusion, earning my degree was a journey worth taking. Yes, it took way longer than I would have liked, but I never gave up. I hope this blog will serve as inspiration to others to never give up on their dreams of pursuing higher education, no matter the obstacles they may face.
