How I Studied and Passed Exam DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure

As part of my employment at Microsoft, I have to get a higher-level technical certificate. So, I decided to go for the DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure certificate. I’m super happy to say I passed the exam, and I want to share how I did it and the resources I used to help others who might want to try it too.

First, I needed to learn what the exam was all about. I used Microsoft Learn material for that. It had lots of helpful learning paths and modules that covered everything I needed to know about Azure data engineering. I spent about two months going through the material, taking notes, and doing hands-on labs. The quizzes and exercises helped me understand the topics even better.

After I felt pretty confident about what I’d learned, I wanted to test myself more by taking the MeasureUp exam prep for DP-203. It had a bunch of questions like the ones on the real exam, so I could see how well I knew the material and find any areas I needed to work on more.

The MeasureUp practice exam was really important for getting ready. They had a timed mode that felt like the real exam, which helped me practice managing my time. They also explained why each answer choice was right or wrong, so I learned even more from that.

After a few weeks of studying the Microsoft Learn material and taking the MeasureUp practice exams, I was ready for the DP-203 exam. I scheduled my exam and went over my notes and the important stuff from the practice exams one last time.

On the day of the exam, I was excited and nervous. But once I started answering the questions, I saw that all my hard work had paid off. The exam was tough, but I was prepared and answered the questions confidently.

When I found out I passed the DP-203 exam, I was so happy! The whole experience taught me a lot, and I couldn’t have done it without the Microsoft Learn material and the MeasureUp exam prep for DP-203. I’m thinking about pursuing AZ-104 and DP-300 next.

If you’re thinking about trying for the DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure certificate, I really recommend using these resources to get ready. With hard work, dedication, and the right tools, you can succeed and learn a lot about data engineering!
